From Rodez Airport.

As you leave the airport turn left on the N140 and head for Decazeville, then Figeac. In Figeac take the D13 towards Cahors, after which you will start to see signs for Gourdon.

If this is your first time driving in France, take care. The roadsign for straight ahead may be at an angle and can appear to be a turn. You’ll soon get used to them.

On arrival at Gourdon:

Follow the road to centre ville and proceed uphill in a short one way street.

Turn left at the top and you will be in the town itself.

Follow straight on until you reach a mini roundabout.

Take the D704 to Perigueux, which shortly forks left.

Proceed down hill to the ‘Zone de Loisirs’, where there will be a lake on either side of the road.

As you rise up the other side you will see signposted the prehistoric site of the ‘Grottes de Gougnac’. One sign abbreviated to Gte de Gougnac.

Turn right here on the D17 and pass the entrance to the Grottes.

Carry on and pass through the commune de Cournazac until the road narrows at a low walled bridge. After which, keep right and take the D47 to Fajoles.

Keep straight on, over a crossroads to Milhac (D128) to your left.

You will come to a further crossroads, with a large grain silo to your right in an Agricultural store called ’Val Ca Dis’.

The road ahead is still the D47 signposted to Masclat.

Approx 100metres after turn left into a narrow unmarked lane, where after 2 small dwellings you will see the marked postbox of Les Prinquières at the end of our drive.

From Toulouse (via A20 autoroute)

From Toulouse Blagnac airport follow A62 autoroute signposted Bordeaux, Paris and then transfer to A20 signposted Montauban, Limoges.

Leave the A20 at junction 56 and follow signs for Gourdon.

On arrival at Gourdon:

Follow the road to centre ville and proceed uphill in a short one way street.

Turn left at the top and you will be in the town itself.

Follow straight on until you reach a mini roundabout.

From Limoges Airport (via A20 autoroute and J56)

When you leave Limoges airport, approx 500m, take left turn to A20 autoroute. You will be brought up to a main road junction where you turn right and continue about 10km to A20, turn onto A20 towards Toulouse etc Leave the A20 at junction 56 and follow signs for Gourdon.

On arrival at Gourdon:

Follow the road to centre ville and proceed uphill in a short one way street.

Turn left at the top and you will be in the town itself.

Follow straight on until you reach a mini roundabout.

ALTERNATIVELY TAKE J55 FROM THE A20

On the A20 southbound, come off at junction 55 marked Sarlat /Souillac.

At the roundabout take the 3rd exit D804 marked Sarlat,

Continue through Souillac town; At the traffic lights turn right to Sarlat D804 signposted Carlux/Sarlat.

Continue down the hill; After the road straightens up, look for small turning on left after zebra crossing signposted D255 Le Roc.………..On this road pass over a narrow river bridge over La Dordogne,

Pass through sign for Cieurac arrive at the village of Le Roc now the D43.

Pass through Le Roc village bearing to right D43 signposted Gourdon

After 2 km take D12 signposted Gourdon to the left.

After 2k take the right turn to Masclat D47 pass under railway bridge proceed up the hill until you reach the village of Masclat.

Pass through village following signs for Gourdon.

Continue to follow signs to Gourdon D47

Ignore small junction/crossroads marked with a right turn to Les Debats.

Les Prinquieres is now going to be a small turning on your right past a long beige house.

The narrow lane is marked with our sign to Les Prinquieres.

Les Prinquieres will be the 3rd Property on your left.

Should you miss this turning you will come across an agricultural store named Val ca Dis, with a large grain silo behind it.

It is on a junction marked Fajoles to the left and St. Julien de Lampon to the right.

Turn around and take the left turn

From Bergerac Airport (via Gourdon)

On leaving Bergerac Airport turn right to Bergerac at roundabout take first exit to SARLAT via Lalinde.

Keep following signs to SARLAT.

On reaching SARLAT you will pass under a tall arched railway bridge and come to a roundabout. Take first exit (right) D704 to Gourdon.

Before reaching Gourdon you will see signs for the Prehistoric site ‘Grottes de Gougnac’. Take left turn to the Grottes D17.

Carry on and pass through the commune de Cournazac until the road narrows at a low walled bridge. After which, keep right and take the D47 to Fajoles.

Keep straight on, over a crossroads to Milhac (D128) to your left.

From Bergerac Airport (via Grolejac)

On leaving Bergerac Airport turn right to Bergerac at roundabout take first exit to SARLAT via Lalinde.

Keep following signs to SARLAT.

On reaching SARLAT you will pass under a tall arched railway bridge and come to a roundabout.

Take first exit (right) D704 to marked Cahors and Gourdon.

Continue uphill and at the next roundabout take second exit to Gourdon/Souillac.

Continue to Grolejac; do not turn off. Stay on this road pass through the village of Carsac, still on the route to Gourdon/Grolejac.

Go straight over at small roundabout marked to Gourdon.

Go through the village of Grolejac and over speed humps and look for left turn to Milhac next to village hall.

Turn left here and follow the road for about 4 km.

Keep right ignoring a left turn to Verignac; after about 400 metre turn left signposted Les Cent Ecus and Les Petites Landes.

Continue up the hill to a Y junction and turn left.

At next crossroads signposted Payrac /Fajoles turn right D36………. continue to next junction.

There will be an agricultural store opposite called Val Ca Dis with a large grain silo;

Turn left towards Masclat D47.

After 100 metres take small side turning marked Les Prinquieres.

We are 3rd property on the left.

From Brive Airport

Leave airport taking 1st exit on roundabout ‘Toutes Directions’ at the next roundabout take 1st exit to Cahors D820, or if you prefer to use the motorway, take the 3rd exit to A20 and follow road to motorway junction take junction to Cahors and leave motorway at junction 55, marked Sarlat/Souillac, toll 1.90€. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit D804 market Sarlat and follow directions below from Souillac.

If avoiding the motorway continue on D820 passing through Cressensac, at main roundabout take 2nd exit D820 to Cahors, stay on road until you reach Souillac 18kms, at roundabout at the bottom of the hill take 2nd exit D804 marked Sarlat.

Continue through Souillac town; At the traffic lights turn right to Sarlat D804 signposted Carlux/Sarlat.

Continue down the hill; After the road straightens up, look for small turning on left after zebra crossing signposted D255 Le Roc.On this road pass over a narrow river bridge over the Dordogne,

Pass through sign for Cieurac arrive at the village of Le Roc now the D43.
